The most noticeable change to the area will be the demolition of the 70-foot-tall pyramid that houses Hard Rock Cafe. After the restaurant moves to its new location (the former Broadway Louie’s), the building will be demolished and a Dave & Buster’s will be built on the lot.

“We’ve done a case study in Wilmington, Charleston and Savannah. (We) visited Orlando and all over to kind of get inspiration for these,”said Brian Wurst of Charleston’s LS3P Associates.
The current archway proclaiming “Celebrity Square, Where the stars go at night,” is also coming down.
