The Carolina Country Music Fest has announced that Gary Allan will headline this year’s kick-off concert on Thursday, June 9.

Allan’s single, “Hangover Tonight” featuring Chris Stapleton,  was nominated for a Academy of Country Music Award. Allan’s most recent album, “Set You Free” is his ninth studio album. It debuted at number one with the hit single, “Every Storm (Runs out of Rain).” Other hit singles include “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys” and “Nothing on but the Radio.”

Joining Allan are Dee Jay Silver, David Ray and Jordan Rager.

Tickets for the kick-off concert are given to those who purchased general admission tickets in advance and any three-day general admission tickets purchased by Friday, April 22.

“The kick-off concert is a great opportunity for attendees to get a sneak peek of the festival space before gates open Friday – it’s an unforgettable party,” said Bob Durkin, President of Full House Productions.
For one week only, single tickets to the kick-off concert are available at a discounted rate of $29.99. Any single tickets purchased after Friday, April 15 at 11:59 p.m. will be $39.99.

Local residents are eligible for a discounted rate of $19.99 per ticket with an ID as proof of address, and can purchase tickets at the following locations: Boathouse Waterway Bar & Grill, 201 Fantasy Harbour Blvd.; The Bowery, 110 Ninth Ave. N.; ART Burger Sushi Bar, 706 N. Ocean Blvd.; 8th Ave. Tiki Bar & Grill, 708 N. Ocean Blvd.

The headliners for the three-day festival include Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line.
