It’s time once again to enjoy America’s favorite pastime in Myrtle Beach SC!

Baseball fans can once again hear the crack of the bat and cheer for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans while eating a hot dog and all the other ballpark favorites.

On Thursday, April 7, the Pelicans, class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs,  will once again appear at Field at Pelicans Ballpark as they take on the Frederick Keys. The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

There are several promotions happening opening night to celebrate the new season. The first 5,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule!

It is also Thirsty Thursday, which means 12 oz. Bud and Bud Light drafts are $1 and 16 oz. cans are $2. This beer special is available from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Kids get to experience the feeling of being on the field. All kids 12 and under get to run the bases. The line starts at the top of section 104.

Get to the stadium early to get autographs! After the gates open, players will be at home plate for 15 minutes to sign autographs.

Stick around after the game for fireworks!

If you can’t make it to opening night the Pelicans are in town every night from April 7-13. For the full schedule, click here.
