Myrtle Beach Pelicans to host St. Patrick's Celebration and Thirsty Thursday March 10

Opening Day for baseball is not until April 7 in Myrtle Beach SC, however, the Pelicans invite you to the ballpark on Thursday, March 10.

The team is hosting a Thirsty Thursday and a St. Patrick’s Celebration at Field at Pelicans Ballpark from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

During this free event the Pelicans will unveil the 2015 Carolina League Championship ring at 5:30 p.m. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase their own championship ring.

The local band PaperWork will provide live music throughout the evening. The Pepsi Grille will be open serving your favorite ballpark items and $1 Bud and Bud Lights and $2 craft beers will be available until 7 p.m.

Be sure to enter the Luck of the Irish raffle. Every single-game ticket purchased gains fans one entry to win two free tickets to the Highway 17 Showdown April 6, when the Pelicans play the Charleston River Dogs at Riley Park in Charleston.

Additional activities include: photos with the Carolina League Championship Trophy, play catch in the outfield, try out the new between innings promotion, knocker balls, and kids can run the bases.
