Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre presents "The Nutcracker"

See the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, live on stage.

The Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre will present the show at the Wheelwright Auditorium at nutcracker 5Coastal Carolina University. This year’s performances mark the 10th year that the CYBT has presented the show in Myrtle Beach SC.

The Nutrcracker has become a holiday tradition for many, not only in Myrtle Beach, but around the world. CYBT’s show will feature spectacular scenery, sets and costumes.

The cast includes 80 young dancers from the area, plus the annual tradition of including local celebrities and community leaders. The guest performers include Ed Piotrowski, Bob Juback, Frank Johnson, Cecil Chandler and Gene Ho.

Performances will be December 12,13, 19 and 20 along with student matinees for area schools.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors 65 and older and $10 for children, 3-12 years of age.  Group discounts are available.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here or at the Coastal Dance Centre Studio at 3554 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet or at 3070 Deville Street in The Market Common.

Sat, Dec. 12 – 7 p.m.

Sun, Dec. 13 – 2 p.m.

Sat, Dec. 19 – 7 p.m.

Sun, Dec 20 – 2 p.m.
