The low-cost airline will increase it’s flights from Pittsburgh by 67-percent and plans to increase service from three times a week to five times during peak season.
“Expanding the frequency of nonstop flights from Pittsburgh to Myrtle Beach from three to five times a week during the summer season provides more travel options for our Pittsburgh visitors,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce in the release. “For years, families from the Pittsburgh area have enjoyed our 60 miles of beautiful beaches, activities and southern hospitality.”
The new flights are expected to bring nearly 10,000 additional visitors each year to the Grand Strand, flying them into the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
