Keith Urban to perform at the Carolina Country Music Festival
Keith Urban will perform at the festival set for June 10-12 on the former Myrtle Beach Pavilion site.
This announcement comes just days after his single “John Cougar, John Deer, John 3:16” hit number one.
“Carolina Country Music Fest is excited to present such an amazing entertainer,” said Bob Durkin, President of FHP. “Keith Urban is a multi-talented musician and a hugely popular TV personality. This year we are taking CCMF to the next level, and this Keith Urban announcement does just that,” continued Durkin.
Urban is currently working on an untitled album, the first since his fourth number one album, “Fuse,” was released in 2013.
Keith has won four Grammy Awards and eight Academy of Country Music Awards including Entertainer of the year in 2006.
Keith joins Tim McGraw who was the first headliner announced in August.
The inaugural Carolina Country Music Festival drew in as many as 20,000 fans. Performers included Lady Antebellum, Eric Church and Big & Rich.
Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
