We know that more than likely, the ocean and is why you decided to vacation here, so we won’t add that to the bucket list. It’s a given that you will spend some time on the beach.
But for those times when you want to check out the rest of what the Grand Strand has to offer, make sure to include the following. • Why it made the list: The SkyWheel is a Myrtle Beach landmark. A ride in one of the climate controlled gondolas will give you a new perspective on the beauty of the Grand Strand coastline. • Why it made the list: With over 30 miniature golf courses along the Grand Strand, you can’t vacation in Myrtle Beach without playing a round or two. • Why it made the list: Myrtle Beach is known for its seafood buffets. An oceanside vacation is not complete with eating seafood. So, why not indulge on as much as you can eat while you are on vacation. Even though there are several great buffets along the Grand Strand, we chose Admiral’s Flagship, because it was the first seafood buffet in the area. • Why it made the list: The aquarium features over 10,000 exotic sea creatures including 12-foot sharks. Also, you must see Planet Jellies, a new 5,000-square-foot jellyfish exhibit that opened in June 2015. • Why it made the list: Broadway at the Beach made the list, because it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Carolina. With so many restaurants, shops, nightlife venues, attractions and rides, there is really something here for everyone.
