There is plenty of entertainment planned for this summer along the Grand Strand.

Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach SC and Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach SC are both kicking off their summer entertainment.

Broadway at the Beach hosts Summer nights from June 1 through August 30. Guests can enjoy free entertainment every night.

Here are just some of the highlights:

Fireworks Extravaganza: Every Tuesday and beginning June 19, every Friday.

Princess Saturdays: Princesses will be roaming throughout the complex to meet their fans and take pictures starting at 6 p.m. on Saturdays.

Superhero Sundays: Superheroes will takeover on Sunday. They will be available after 6 p.m. to meet their fans and take pictures.

Face Painting & Balloon Art: Kids will love to have their face painted and enjoy balloons. The is will be near Capriz Italian Feast at 6 p.m. on June 11, June 30, July 2, July 20, July 23, July 28.

Ta-Dah! Performing Arts Dance Show: This dance troupe from Georgia includes 50 dancers. They will perform on June 28 at 6 p.m., near Capriz Italian Feast.

Chocolate Chip & Co: This band will entertain visitors with a mix of Motown, R&B, hip hop, soul and more. They will perform on July 3 at 7 p.m. in Celebrity Square.

The Mark Roberts Band: Enjoy the sounds of rock n’ roll, funk, country, and dance music. They will put on a free concert in Celebrity Square on July 4 at 7 p.m.

Pizzaz Band: Rock n’ roll and country tunes can be heard on July 25 at 7 p.m. The free concert will be held in Celebrity Square.

Barefoot Landing kicks off Summerfest! This summer entertainment series runs from June 1 through August 29.

Summerfest! will include free concerts, kids karaoke, princesses, superheroes, fireworks, strolling entertainers and much more.

Here’s a look at a few of the highlights:

Fireworks: Look up in the sky on Monday nights for fireworks. Fireworks will kick off at 10:15 p.m.

Superhero Saturdays: If you have a child who loves superheroes, then Barefoot Landing is the place to be on Saturdays. The Superheroes will be walking around starting at 6 p.m.

Princess Sundays: Little girls will love to see their favorite princesses. On Sundays, the princess will be strolling the grounds after 6 p.m.

Nick Pike: This semi-finalist from “America’s Got Talent” will entertain visitors every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with his comedy, juggling and unicycling. He will perform at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Kids Karaoke with Larry Tanelli: Kids can show off their signing talents every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.

Justin Hoke: Enjoy Justin’s acoustic sounds every Friday from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Don Colton: This saxophone player will treat visitors to smooth jazz every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Seafood fans know they’re in for a treat when the catch of the day catches their eye before they even make it to the table. This month, The Flying Fish will be celebrating their eighth anniversary in North Myrtle Beach.

First-time guests will notice right away that the restaurant also is a market, with some of that day’s haul on display, including entire fish on ice gazing woefully through the glass. This fresh food is one of the many reasons The Flying Fish is so popular, with the business promising less than 48 hours between boat and plate.
