The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel has become a popular place for wedding proposals, according to employees at the ride. Once such unique proposal was documented and has become a YouTube sensation and can be viewed here.

The ride meanders along at a comfortable pace, usually lasting more than 10 minutes. Guests can ride every day of the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, as long as weather permits.

The Landshark Bar & Grill awaits those who want a snack or cold beverage before or after the ride, and a gift shop will let you brag about your experience with souvenirs. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk sits right at the foot of the structure, with plenty of quaint shops and other restaurants.
