Allegiant Air is again boosting its service in Myrtle Beach with flights to five new destinations starting this summer — including markets such as Orlando, Fla., and Akron-Canton, Ohio, that currently don’t have nonstop service to Myrtle Beach.
Flights to Akron-Canton will begin June 3; Indianapolis, Ind., and Orlando (via Orlando Sanford International Airport) will start June 4; and Clarksburg, W.Va., and Pittsburgh (via Pittsburgh International Airport) will begin June 5, Allegiant spokesman Justin Ralenkotter said.

These will be the first nonstop flights to those cities from Myrtle Beach, though Pittsburgh-bound travelers have had service to the area through Latrobe/Pittsburgh on Spirit Airlines.
