“The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk truly is the centerpiece for tourism along the Grand Strand, and we thank the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism for recognizing its contributions to our tourism industry with this wonderful honor,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. “One only has to walk along the boardwalk at any time during the year to see the positive impact it is having on the Myrtle Beach area. Each year, more and more visitors from around the world are discovering all the fantastic amenities and attractions the Grand Strand has to offer, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is certainly one of the top experiences these guests seek out.”
