As you cross the drawbridge to enter the castle you immediately step back into the 11th century.https://www.myrtlebeachlife.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2014/11/DSC0179-300×199.jpgThe show itself lives up to its reputation, providing action and heroism for the little knights-in-training, romance and bravery for the princesses-to-be, and a great time for the whole family. Let’s not forget about the menu, which includes oven-roasted chicken, garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, an herb-roasted potato, a spare rib, a pastry of the castle, and select non-alcoholic beverages.
Medieval Times also offers a vegetarian menu for all you herbivores, featuring hummus, warm pita bread, carrot and celery sticks, 3-bean stew with fire-roasted tomato and brown rice, and fresh fruit or Italian ice (based on availability). Mouth watering yet?
The two-hour show features intrigue and humor while knights on horseback participate in games, swordfights and jousting matches. Guests get to wear crowns and wave flags to cheer on their knights, and a few lucky ladies may even get a flower or a favor from their knight in shining armor.
Medieval Times has everything. Adventure awaits. Hang on to your helmet, the show is about to begin!
