Michael Jackson would have turned 56 this year on Aug. 29, and Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach SC wants to celebrate the legendary pop singer’s life and music.
Legends in Concert, a popular Myrtle Beach area attraction, will have tribute shows to Michael Jackson Aug. 29-31 featuring South Carolina native J Lucas, who has been paying tribute to Michael Jackson on stage since 2009, according to a press release.

“Michael Jackson is an icon across the world and we’re so lucky that we have found an artist as talented as J Lucas to pay tribute to the King of Pop,” said Jason Aiesi, general manager of Legends in Concert Myrtle Beach in the release. “From MJ’s signature moonwalk to his onstage charisma, J is able to recreate a magical concert experience for so many Michael fans.”
The last chance for folks to catch the tribute show is Aug. 31.
Other tribute shows running right now include those for Madonna, the Blues Brothers, Steven Tyler, and Elvis Presley. The lineup changes seasonally.
