As things really begin to heat up (it’s been HOT this week!) and we move closer and closer to the true start of the summer season, it seems the selection of Myrtle Beach events and things to do just keep getting better and better.
The area’s many summer series of concerts, films and other family entertainment continue to build with great events like Cool Summer Evenings at Brookgreen Gardens, Live After Five and Movies Under The Stars beginning this week.

Also, one of the area’s newest and most buzzed about summer festivals will take place downtown with the Native Sons Salt Games returning for a second year.
Though it may be too early to call this great event a new beach tradition, it has all the signs of something that can over time come to replace the wholesome, beachy summer fun that was lost when the Sun Fun Festival halted a few years back.
