Myrtle Waves Water Park introduces 'Dive-In' Movie Nights
Adding even more family fun to a Myrtle Beach attraction that's already filled with plenty of ways to get wet and wild, Myrtle Waves Water Park has announced that it will offer "Dive-In" movies throughout the summer beginning this week.
The park, which is under new management from Florida-based Innovative Attraction Management this season, will run a series of Family Dive In Movie Nights each Wednesday from June 11-Aug. 13.
Each week the series will feature a different family-friendly film shown on a large screen next to the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool.
The show will start at dusk each night, however the park will offer a special "Dive-In" rate from 4 p.m. to close each Wednesday, which includes admission to the 20-acre Myrtle Beach water park and the movie.
This special general admission price is $11.99 plus tax for all ages. Popcorm will also be sold for $1 during the event.
“Myrtle Waves has been a part of creating family memories for years” says general manager Brent Owens. “We are introducing this summer movie night series with features that the whole family can enjoy in a unique setting providing added value to their water park experience!”
The Dive-In Movie Night series is weather permitting and films are subject to change with out notice. Here's a look at the schedule of movies that will be shown:
- June 11: Finding Nemo
- June 18: Despicable Me 2
- June 25: Scooby Doo: Case of the Lake Monster
