For many, Summer means sitting outdoors and listening to great live music and there are plenty of great summer concert series happening around the area including Hot Summer Nights, Music on Main, Surfside Sunday Serenades and The Boathouse Summer Concert Series.
There’s also a pair of big name acts headed to town this week in country star Josh Turner and Southern rockers Drive-By Truckers.
And if you’re looking for something a little classier to do this weekend, perhaps wine tastings and culinary events of Coastal Uncorked food festival will serve you well, or other awesome cultural happenings like the art museum’s Ansel Adams display.
