Barefoot Landing is the quieter, less flashy counterpart to Broadway at the Beach.

The outdoor shopping and entertainment has many of the same shops, like the Savannah Bee Company and The Pepper Place, but offer different forms of amusement. Broadway at the Beach has theme park rides and high-speed boats, while Barefoot Landing offers Alligator Adventure and the House of Blues.

The restaurants at Broadway at the Beach, especially the top-rated ones, tend to give customers an experience along with food. The Hangout and Señor Frog’s both entertain patrons with live music or a DJ among other shows.

In comparison, Barefoot Landing restaurants are keen on views of the Intracoastal Waterway and providing a laidback but fun dining experience.

The Flying Fish Public Market and Grill is a well-loved seafood restaurant at Barefoot Landing. Hungry patrons can order customized crab boils, a catch of the day or sushi. For those not hungry for fish, there are also salads, steak and chicken.

Reviewers speak highly of Flying Fish Public Market’s happy hour menu, which consists of fried favorites and sushi rolls at a discount as well as $6 margaritas and $5 house wines.
