TGI Fridays’ two locations in the Myrtle Beach area will no longer serve patrons food.

The North Myrtle Beach location at 500 Highway 17 North and the Myrtle Beach location at 7515 North Kings Highway are both listed as permanently closed on Google. The Sun News called both restaurants but did not receive a response. The two eateries’ links to TGI Fridays’ website no longer work; an error message appears instead.

The closures come as the company faces financial hardship. An Oct. 19, 2024, Bloomberg report said TGI Fridays is heading towards bankruptcy. In recent times, TGI Fridays has closed numerous locations across the country, including in Colorado.
