New oceanfront restaurant to open along Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. What we know about it
Sandbar at Sharkey’s will open in the same building as Sharkey’s Oceanfront Restaurant on March 1, according to a Facebook post.
The Sandbar will be open on the bottom floor while the oceanfront restaurant will operate on the top level. Owner Adam Carroll said he is currently painting the restaurant and getting it ready to open next Friday.
Carroll said the menu will be similar to Blueberry Grill or Drift, both of which are brunch centered restaurants. They serve fancy pancakes, eggs and some lunch items, along with specialty drinks. Sharkey’s Oceanfront serves seafood, chicken and cocktails.
“There will be quality food with Ocean Boulevard pricing,” Carroll said.
The head chef, Joe Lombardo, comes from a fine dining background, he said.
