Myrtle Beach has become a melting pot of different styles of food for years, and one such staple is pizza.

Several new pizzerias opened during the 2023 summer, and recently, The Washington Post listed the best pizza places per style in all 50 states.

Myrtle Beach did quite well in the rankings. Chicago Pizza Company, located at 665 Highway 17 South in Surfside Beach, is ranked sixth in South Carolina for Chicago-style pizza.

Rapone Brick Oven, located at 3303 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle, Beach is SC’s best “Neapolitan-ish” pizza.

Corrado’s Pizza, located at 10177 North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, is the best New York-style pizza in the state, and Rapone is second, according to The Post.

But what do you think? Did The Post get these rankings right, or did they forget to list your favorite place to pick up a cheesy pie?

The Sun News is doing a reader survey where voters can list the pizzeria they like the most. Readers will have one week to list their favorite places, and the results announced next week.
