Bugs, mold, rodent droppings observed in recent Myrtle Beach area restaurant inspections
Three Horry County restaurants were cited with grades below an A in routine health inspections last week (Oct. 24 -28) by the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar, 4620 Dickpond Rd., Unit J, Myrtle Beach, received a 74%.
China Town, 2608 Main St., # G, Conway, received a 71%.
Los Cabos Mexican Grill, 670 U.S.17 S., Surfside Beach, received a 78%.
- The Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar, Myrtle Beach, had a routine inspection on Oct., 24th and received a 74%, “C” score the following violations were noted: no soap at hand washing stations (cook line and sushi area), moldy food was observed, ice machine was soiled with black slime. Improper thawing of food, Vacuum sealed fish thawing in original packaging. Package states to remove fish from vacuum sealed packaging prior to refrigeration thawing. Observed rodent droppings at the cook line and below the dish washing machine. A follow-up inspection is to be performed within 10 days for violations. This information is provided by the S.C. - Los Cabos Mexican Grill, Surfside Beach, had a routine inspection on Oct., 25th and received a 78%, “B” score the following violations were noted: food utensils and dishes, stored as clean were soiled with dried food debris. Multiple chemical spray bottles not labeled with their contents. Live roaches were observed during the inspection. A follow-up inspection is to be performed within 10 days for violations.
