Pranzarelli’s Pizza will soon deliver on nostalgia. The mom-and-pop shop is opening in the Galleria Shopping Center at 9660 North King’s Highway in about two weeks.
Pranzarelli’s Pizza is the brain-child of Greg Pranzo, the owner of the Myrtle Beach Wahlburgers franchise. As he traveled the country, he reminisced about grabbing a slice for lunch and Friday family pizza dinners around the table at home. Like so many from the northeast, he and his family regularly vacationed in Myrtle Beach so he knew there was a market for it. Pranzo, by the way, means lunch in Italian.

“We hope this pizza elicits childhood memories of sitting around the table with your family on Friday night,” said Greg Pranzo, owner of Pranzarelli’s. “All of our recipes will be made in-house so our pizza will be as authentic as it comes. We hope you can build new memories with your family over Pranzarelli’s pizza.”
Pranzarelli’s is the real deal, old school pizzeria to satisfy your New York style pizza cravings. It’s the pizza you have delivered on Friday night and the place you stop in at lunchtime and grab a slice. You will also find homemade mozzarella triangles, wings, chicken parm heroes, fresh chopped salads, and Italian ices.
With just four tables in the small restaurant, Pranzarelli’s will focus on the food – the real Italian meats, fresh vegetables, sauce made in-house, and freshly shredded mozzarella – all on the crispy, but chewy crust you expect from a real New York pizzeria.
Stop on in and grab a slice or call for delivery.
Pranzarelli’s will be open Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. until midnight.
