The new Panera Bread in North Myrtle Beach will celebrate its opening with several special offers and giveaways: The first 1,000 customers starting at 10 a.m. will receive a free coffee travel mug along with two weeks of free coffee refills. Tuesday and Wednesday, customers will receive a $5 gift card with the purchase of a You-Pick-Two to use on future visits. These offers will be honored only at the new bakery-café location in North Myrtle Beach.
In November 2016, Covelli Enterprises acquired 22 Panera Bread locations in South Carolina and Georgia. Since acquiring the market, Covelli has opened two cafés in Myrtle Beach. The first broke company sales records back in November, and the second recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony in which a check was presented to the American Cancer Society of Myrtle Beach. The company, known for its philanthropy donated more than $28 million in 2016 alone to local non-profit organizations and hunger relief agencies in all markets. Covelli maintains a strong dedication to supporting organizations locally in all areas of the state, ensuring they give back to the communities who support each of their café locations.
The company, which employs nearly 35,000 people and operates 300 Panera Bread bakery-cafés, has plans for expansion in the region and is excited to bring more jobs to the area. Open interviews for the North Myrtle Beach location will be held at the Hampton Inn located at 2112 Little River Neck Road Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am-4pm before the Grand Opening. Applications will also be taken online at panerabread.jobs. The café is looking for full time associates day and night.
