Covelli Enterprises, the largest franchisee of Panera Bread, is proud to announce the Grand Opening of its second Panera Bread location with a drive-thru in Myrtle Beach, SC on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:00 a.m. The new bakery-café will be located in the Carolina Forest Area at 101 Debo Drive.
The new Panera Bread in Myrtle Beach will celebrate its opening with several special offers and giveaways: The first 1,000 customers starting at 10:00 a.m. will receive a free coffee travel mug along with two weeks of free coffee refills. Tuesday and Wednesday, customers will receive a $5 gift card with the purchase of a You-Pick-Two® to use on future visits. These offers will be honored only at the new bakery-café location in Myrtle Beach.

In November 2016 Covelli Enterprises acquired 22 Panera Bread locations in South Carolina and Georgia. Locations in South Carolina include Myrtle Beach, Aiken, Bluffton, Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Hilton Head Island, Lexington, and Summerville, while locations in Georgia include Augusta, Evans, Hinesville, Pooler, Savannah, and Streetsboro. The company, which now employs nearly 35,000 people and operates 300 Panera Bread bakery-cafés, has plans for expansion in the region.
Covelli’s first Myrtle Beach café broke company sales records. The company, known for its philanthropy, donated more than $28 million in 2016 alone to local non-profit organizations and hunger relief agencies in all markets.
