http://youtu.be/bxSx-Yu2F8wNorth Myrtle Beach SC is about to get a whole lot more “mellow” with a brand new venue to wine, dine, and cheer on your favorite sports team just minutes from the ocean front. North Myrtle Beach residents have long asked the question, “When will we get a Mellow Mushroom?”  That time is now.

North Myrtle Beach’s newest resident, Mellow Mushroom, debuted to a very lucky select few Saturday night, September 20 at its new location at 1101 Highway 17 N. in North Myrtle Beach and boy did they deliver.

Aesthetically the dining experience is unmatched. Mellow Mushroom pulled out all the stops for their Grand Opening with a brand new look and feel to family style dining and the sports bar scene. With vibrant colors, several sculptures and artwork, and even a 900-gallon customized aquarium installation for the restaurant by Animal Planet’s “Tanked”, an aquarium installation reality show.

The atmosphere alone is reason enough alone to patronize the restaurant itself. With the new experience, Mellow Mushroom’s brand will draw in legions of die-hard fans already fond of their menu.  If pizza is your dish (and if you find yourself at Mellow Mushroom it probably is) then look no further.

With over 15 different types of pizza as well as a “build-your-own-pizza” option and tons of toppings, the possibilities are endless. Mellow Mushroom will leave even the pickiest of eaters satisfied at the end of the day. They also offer 60 craft beers behind a fully stocked bar! And if that isn’t enough the restaurant even boasts a life-sized boat for you to board while entertaining family and friends.

The interesting thing about Mellow Mushroom as a company is that the restaurant rode into town with a seasoned popularity already atop its shoulders before even opening their doors. That fact was made clear on a rainy Saturday night as hundreds of patrons sat down elbow-to-elbow to enjoy the new restaurant.

If you need a place to watch the big game, Mellow Mushroom has got you covered there as well. With X amount of big screen TVs plus a patio deck with live nightly music, Mellow Mushroom is on track make a big splash in the North Myrtle Beach social scene.

The restaurant opened to the public Monday, Sept. 22.

Seafood fans know they’re in for a treat when the catch of the day catches their eye before they even make it to the table. This month, The Flying Fish will be celebrating their eighth anniversary in North Myrtle Beach.

First-time guests will notice right away that the restaurant also is a market, with some of that day’s haul on display, including entire fish on ice gazing woefully through the glass. This fresh food is one of the many reasons The Flying Fish is so popular, with the business promising less than 48 hours between boat and plate.
