Ready for a fish fry? Here are the best places to get fried fish in the Myrtle Beach area

Eleanor Nash

Do you crave freshly caught seafood sizzling out of the fryer with crunchy breading? Fried fish is a coastal South Carolina favorite, whether in fish and chips, fish tacos or plain with tartar sauce.

If you observe Lent or just want to get in on a spring-time tradition, Myrtle Beach-area Catholic organizations, like the Knights of Columbus, host community fish fries each Friday until Easter.

Go to a local seafood market to cook the fish yourself or try out one of these Myrtle Beach-area seafood restaurants or fish fries.
