A New Zealand golfer won the Myrtle Beach Classic PGA Tournament in a sudden death playoff.

Ryan Fox won the tournament, with Mackenzie Hughes of Canada coming in second and Harry Higgs coming in third place. Fox ended with -15.

Fox will take home $720,000 in prize money along with a trophy made at Brookgreen Gardens. Hughes earned $436,000 and Higgs $276,000.

The 38-year-old is from Auckland, New Zealand and became a professional golfer in 2011, according to his PGA profile. This is his first PGA championship win.

Fox has been to the Olympics three times, representing New Zealand in 2016, 2020 and 2024, according to the Olympics website.
