A North Myrtle Beach golf course has been renovated recently.

The Azalea Sands Golf Club renovated its clubhouse and updated its dining area, according to a press release. The course also made changes to its greens and fairways as part of the renovation.

The golf course has been in the news in recent years. In 2019, new management took over the club and announced they would renovate the clubhouse and course itself.

Azalea Sands is located at 2100 Highway 17 South.

Opened in 1972, the club is one of the older golf courses on the Grand Strand, as it opened six years after PineHills Course at Myrtlewood in 1966.
