Founders Group International named Corey Bowers head golf professional at World Tour Golf Links and promoted Eric Glosick to head golf professional at Founders Club as part of FGI’s recent reorganization plan. FGI owns 22 golf courses in America’s seaside golf capital, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Bowers was previously head golf pro at Founders Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, where he managed day-to-day operations, oversaw budgets and supervised more than 40 employees. The move to World Tour puts him at one of FGI’s most unique facilities and one of the top tier golf courses on the Grand Strand.

After three years as first assistant golf professional at River Club in Pawleys Island, Glosick moves into the head golf pro position at Founders Club.
Glosick has an applied/occupational associate degree in golf complex operations and management from the Golf Academy of America, with a concentration in golf professional and general golf management. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.
“Corey and Eric have the kind of skills and background we need to increase the efficiency of our company, which is one of the main goals of the reorganization plan,” said Steve Mays, acting president of Founders Group International. “Both have experience in managing the day-to-day operations of golf courses and a strong commitment to providing the best customer service. Both of these qualities are key in enabling us to provide the best possible experience for all of the golfers playing our courses.”
