The World Amateur Golf Tournament returns to Myrtle Beach SC

Amateur golfers are preparing to compete in the 32nd annual World Amateur Golf Tournament in Myrtle Beach SC.

The tournament will be held at the championship courses along the Grand Strand August 31-September 4.

The World Am is the world largest for amateurs and brings in more than 3,000 golfers from over 25 countries.

The tournament features 72 holes of competition, an 18-hole championship playoff, entertainment and prizes.

It is open to all golfers 17 and older who have a certified USGA handicap or foreign equivalent.
