Storms roll through Myrtle Beach, bringing power outages and traffic light problems
Storms are rolling through the Myrtle Beach area, and the National Weather service is calling for a 60 percent chance of rain throughout the night.
At one point Wednesday, more than 720 people were without power near Socastee and Myrtle Beach, according to a Santee Cooper power outage map, but there were only 31 out of power by 6 p.m.
Three defective traffic lights and a downed power line had also been addressed by the South Carolina Highway Patrol by 6 p.m.
