Conway police searching for Main Street shooter

The Conway Police Department is investigating an attempted murder that occured in the early morning hours Saturday on Main Street near downtown.

Officers responding to a 3:40 a.m. call of shots fired at 10th Avenue and Main Street discovered a two-car accident blocking the intersection.

Less than a block away, a shooting victim was discovered at 902 10th Avenue, the incident report said.

The victim is described as a 20-year-old black male, and his medical condition is unknown.

Police are still searching for the shooter, the report said.
