Q) Are you from around here?

A) No actually I’m from Pennsylvania originally. I moved down here about 11 years ago. I wanted the warmer weather, I was tired of the snow, and I ride motorcycles so I figured I could ride here more often.

Q) What kind of motorcycle do you ride?

A) I have a 2006 Harley Night Train.

Q) How long have you been a bartender?

A) I’ve bartender ever since i moved to Myrtle Beach. I used to be in the medical field in the Air Force and I decided when I moved down here that I wanted to become a bartender.

Q) How did you get into bartending?

A) I went looking for jobs in the medical field, and they didn’t pay very much down here, and there was a bar like every five feet so I decided to take a bartending course and applied for a job, and became a bartender.

Q) Favorite thing to do when you’re not behind the bar?

A) Go to the beach, hang out with friends, riding when the weather’s decent.

Q) Favorite drink?

A) Well I’m simple I like either beer or Jack & Coke.

Q) Best conversation you’ve ever heard at a bar?

A) You hear a lot of things that you don’t even want to hear. I guess someone that you’ve known for a while and then you hear them talk to somebody new, and all of a sudden they own millions of dollars of property, and 17 boats, and three houses, multi million dollar mansions.

Q) What is your signature drink?

A) It’d be the Jamaican Dust. It’s Kahlua, Amaretto, Coconut rum, and a tiny splash of pineapple juice.
