RICHARD CHEESE and LOUNGE AGAINST THE MACHINE

Lots of happenings this week, and we’re going to start with perhaps the most important one, which would be Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine performing at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, Friday, July 15.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Dick Cheese, you need to get educated, quick. What makes Ricardo Queso so special is that he takes your favorite songs and sets them to his “lounge singer” sound/environment, which I think we can all admit makes them immensely better. This of course brings certain comedic elements to the show, but you’ll never fully understand until you see the Cheese live. I mean come on, his band’s name is “Lounge Against the Machine,” this show is a bigger deal than people are making it. With albums such as “I’d Like a Virgin,” and “Silent Nightclub,” Richard Cheese is the reason you should wake up on Friday.

With that said, in attending a show performed by Dick Cheese you should probably already know that you MUST be 18+ with valid ID to enter the venue for this event. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the Cheese starts flowing at 8:30 p.m. This show will have Reserved Seating in the Pit Area on the floor in front of the stage and in our balcony.

SUMMERLAND TOUR

In non-Dick Cheese related news, the SUMMERLAND TOUR: Featuring a bunch of guys who were super famous in the 90’s like Sugar Ray, Everclear, Sponge, and Lit will be live in concert Friday July 15 at the Myrtle Beach Speedway for all those guys you went to high school with who still wear Blink 182 T-shirts. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Lawn tickets are $25, and Gold Circle tickets are $45, and they’re better because they’re gold. Purchase your tickets online today atwww.myrtlebeachspeedway.com.

FREE SHOW FRIDAY

Last but not least (and certainly not Ricardo of Queso) the Boathouse will host its “Free Show Friday” featuring Josh Phillips.

The Boathouse presents free shows every Friday (hence the cool name) and this Friday is no exception. Give them a call for times and more info at (843) 903-2628.
