Dick Divitz Tap Room replaces the former Tally Ho Bar, and those who go there now may not even recognize the place. New owners, with four decades of bar and restaurant experience, have completely gutted the place and have a new U-shaped bar, 40 new stools around the bar and booths for guests to enjoy their food, as well. Happy Hour is every day from 4-7 p.m. and include specials like $2 domestic bottles, $2 domestic 16-ounce drafts, $2.50 house liquor, $3 house wine, $4 call liquor, $1 off import bottles and $3 Jager or Fireball shots. While you’re there, don’t forget about their delicious food, which is receiving some rave reviews, so far. Sure you might have a taste for some of their sliders or maybe their wings that customers go crazy over, but ask them about their paninis. Their club is pretty popular, but don’t miss the turkey avocado panini or the pastrami reuben. They slice their own meat and hand make their own burger patties.
We haven’t even covered their beers yet! There are 12, mostly craft, beers on tap, and a wide offering of bottles and cans as well. There’s plans for an expansion of their taps, but it’s still too early to talk about that.
Get there Thursday night at 7:30 for Team Trivia night. On any night, you can play darts, pool or just lounge back and watch sports on the TVs. You can also watch NASCAR and all NFL games there, too. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, Dick Divitz Tap Room is designed to please anyone who walks through their doors.
