The Bottle Shop in Conway closes its doors | Open/Shut Case
The Bottle Shop in Conway went out with a bang on Saturday, July 2, to the bittersweet gathering of many fans. For two years since its inception, The Bottle Shop has collected beers and friends and became something more than a bar. Live music, daily specials, even video games on a big screen, all made this business a popular and loved hang-out.
Thus, the decision to close this little home brewery has prompted much sympathy and mourning. Craft beers have been growing in popularity throughout the country and having a business built around local craft brews made perfect sense in Downtown Conway. Everything this family-run store did was for their beer-loving customers and in turn, the customers gladly supported them.
Although The Bottle Shop has made the decision to close, fans can still visit the facebook.com/tbsconway or even call 843-732-337 to express condolences and optimism for future endeavors. Their location at 1015 4th Avenue closed the doors for the last time Saturday night after one Last Hurrah with their friends.
