A new restaurant on S.C. 544 opened its doors May 12 with the unforgettable name of Emperor Penguin Grill. Although none of the arctic birds will be waddling around inside, guests will still find plenty of hardworking folks doing their best to provide fresh meals.
This new grill in Conway has a little bit of everything on their menu, from burgers to risotto. Lowcountry meets Italian on their grits and risotto section, then sandwiches, soup, and salad are also available while continuing the restaurants theme of variety. For example, taco salad, General Tso’s salad, and a prime rib salad are just a few of the options.
Chicken, seafood, steak, and pasta finish up the broad range of Emperor Penguin’s menu, and that is still not the entire menu. No matter what you’re craving, it looks like this grill is determined to make sure you have it.
Across from the Witch Golf Club in the Coastal Commons shopping area, Emperor Penguin Grill serves guests from Tuesday to Saturday, 11a.m. to 9p.m. and until 4p.m. on Sundays. They are interactive with their fans on facebook.com/emperor-penguin-grill while trying to keep it updated. Call 843-234-0605 to talk to one of Conway’s new penguins or visit 2153 S.C. 544 to give them a shot!
