A new eatery in Murrells Inlet opened their doors with the opening of May, and The Spotted Dog is ready to play. Located across the street from Suck Bang Blow, The Spotted Dog hopes to bring some good Southern comfort food to the long strip of restaurants, along with a great family atmosphere.
Having just opened, the team is working on perfecting their menu and ironing out problems as they pop up. Already The Spotted Dog has plans for live entertainment, from music to a storyteller sharing ghost tales and bits of local history.
A quick call to 843-652-3116 can help potential guests find out more about this new addition, but the restaurant also interacts quite well with fans at facebook.com/spotted-dog-restaurant. Their website, thespotteddogsc.com, is not quite complete yet functioning and currently the restaurant is open every day except Mondays. For now, lunch begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m., to be followed up by dinner between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. when the restaurant closes.
