Beach Bash, Pre-Rally party and Dragon Boat planned for the weekend | On the Fly

Forty-Nine, twenty person teams competed in the rain at the Ground Zero Dragon Boat races at The Market Common. Eighth Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival

The Eighth Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival is back for 2016 at Grand Park (Market Common) from 8 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 for an exciting day of fundraising! Enjoy a free Fun Warehouse family fun zone, various food vendors, and a drummer costume contest all while watching and cheering for more than 1,000 participants joining with their teams, racing one another as they paddle toward the finish line!

Socastee Heritage Festival

Pre-Rally Party

Suck Bang Blow is getting ready for bike season with the Pre-Rally Party weekend Saturday, April 30 at 9 p.m. Power Born Rebellion is set to perform. Make sure you come to the party before the party!

The Beach Bash for the Veterans

If you like veterans, and beaches, then you’re really gonna want to perk up here.

The Beach Bash for the Veterans will be kicking off May 1 at Scotty's Beach Bar at Surfside Beach Resort from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Events include the inaugural Fish Fry & Summer Drink contest, Food & Drinks, Live Music, a Silent Auction and Raffles for prizes. All Proceeds from the Beach Bash will go to support the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center in Little River.
