THE LOWDOWN

The Sportsman is a pretty cool bar with darts, pool, karaoke, a decent outdoor seating area and some great food. Monday features free tacos from 6-9 p.m. with a two drink minimum, and on occassional Tuesdays, the bar features a beer pong tournament. On Saturdays, there is karaoke from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. It draws a nice local crowd with tourists finding the bar, on accassion, during the season.

TIPS

The place is full of TVs, so finding a bad spot for a sporting event is hard to do at Sportsman. Drink specials dip into the $2 and $4 mark, and they have daily lunch specials. It’s best just to follow them on Facebook for the latest on what grub they’re offering. www.facebook.com/thesportsmanMB.
