THE LOWDOWN

The Brass Tap is a recent addition to The Market Common, located about two doors down from Grand Cinema 14. The Brass Tap brands itself as an upscale beer bar that offers 60 different craft beers on tap, full food menu, liquor, wine and entertainment. The interior of The Brass Tap is dark and sophisticated with the large draft beer selection on display in the middle of the bar. There are daily specials throughout the week including $4 Carolina’s pints on Thursdays - Carolina’s meaning beer made in North and South Carolina. Every Friday, The Brass Tap offers a special tapping of a rare or unique beer picked by the staff.

TIPS

During Happy Hour, specials include — half off appetizers, $1.50 off all draft beer, and $3 house vodka. Mondays are hospitality nights starting at 9 p.m. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, featuring $2 tacos. Wednesdays are Wine Wednesdays with half off wine all day. Coming soon, live music on Friday nights.
