Liberty Taproom & Grill’s BOURBON, BREW & QUE

“Well they didn’t really have a clever name for it,” is NO LONGER an excuse as to why you didn’t show up for Liberty Taproom & Grill’s BOURBON, BREW & QUE. You’re in for a real treat Mondays from 4-8 p.m. with a $7 BBQ MENU featuring honey bbq wings, bbq rib stack, bbq chicken pizza, bacon mac and cheese spring rolls, pimento bbq poppers, bbq shrimp and smoked qouda grit cake. Don’t know what some of that is? Doesn’t matter, it’s $7, get down there. Also, $8 Select Bourbon Cocktails are on the menu, so there’s that.

Still not impressed? Well EXCUUUUSE me, I didn’t realize the queen was in town. Try this one on for size.

House of Blues

On Saturday, Feb. 27, Biz Markie has GOT what you NEED at the House of Blues with a Decades Collide party, 80s vs. 90s featuring that guy I just mentioned, Biz Markie. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. so that’s plenty of time for you to get your son or daughter a “Biz Markie” T-shirt and teach him or her the lyrics to “Just a Friend.” The confirmed line up for this bad boy? Biz Markie, Miracle Max and The Pet Monsters & A Nickel Bag of Funk. I don’t know about you, but if you WEREN’T excited for Biz Markie you sure as hell better get excited for a band called “Miracle Max and The Pet Monsters.” Just sayin’.

Also at the House of Blues, let’s give a warm welcome to SLAYER who is about to corrupt your angsty teenagers’ minds, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. The confirmed line up consists of Slayer, Testament & Carcass — that’s right. Single ladies? Who knows, you might meet the man of your dreams at a CARCASS concert. Let’s get that memory train rolling.
