Are you from here?

No I’m from Chevy Chase, Maryland. Chevy Chase actually named himself after the town. His grandmother used to call him that. It was like a nickname or something.

How long have you been a bartender?

Nine years. My uncle owns a bunch of restaurants and clubs in Maryland so I started working for him in summers and stuff.

First job?

Probably working for my dad, but this is probably like my first real job.

Perks to being a bartender?

You get to talk to a lot of interesting people.

Favorite drink to make?

I like making different martinis, experimenting with them and stuff.

Hardest drink to make?

I’m glad we don’t have it but frozen drinks are a pain in the butt, mojitos and stuff like that.

If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be?

Donald Trump. I think that would be entertaining. Kirk Cousins, I’m a big Redskins fan. And probably, Will Ferrell.

Thoughts on RGIII?

I think that he’s overrated. I’ve always thought that, I’ve never been a big fan of his.

Do you think the drinking age should be lowered to 18?

Yes. And no. I mean if you can go to war and serve in the armed forces then I don’t know why you can’t have a cocktail.

Favorite drink to consume?

*laughs* Prosecco. Champagne.

Best part about being a bartender?

Just getting to interact with different people, I’ve met a lot of really cool people.

Weirdest thing you’ve ever seen in a bar?

Hmm,. There’s a lot. Fights, girls taking off their tops, girls having like meltdowns.

Biggest tip you’ve ever gotten?

$500

Secret to getting a good tip?

I think just being real with people, and joking around.

Signature drink?

We have the King Apple here.
