Are you a local?

I am not an original local. I’m from Philadelphia, Penn. I’ve been here for seven years now.

What brought you from PA?

My husband. He’s the operations manager here at New South. We grew up together in Philadelphia.

Are you an “It’s Always Sunny” fan?

Yes.

How long have you been a bartender?

I’ve been a bartender for about 15 years now.

First job?

My very first job was at “Ross Dress for Less” when I was 15 years old.

Do you think the drinking age should be lowered?

I do not. Absolutely not.

Is there a reason?

Because 18-year-olds are annoying and awful people.

Friday Night Playlist?

Anything from Modest Mouse, Michael Jackson, always, and probably a little David Bowie.

Favorite band?

Probably the Beatles.

How did you become a bartender?

I use to cocktail in Vegas, and I always wanted to bartend, because it looked way funner, and it is, so I just started doing that instead. I like slinging drinks.

Best tip you’ve ever gotten?

Two grand.

Favorite drink to make?

Probably margaritas, I really like doing passion fruit margaritas.

Favorite drink to consume?

IPA beer.

Perks of being a bartender?

People give you lots of free drinks when you go out.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Right here.
