Tim Tebow, 28, and ex-Miss Universe Olivia Culpo broke up, and if you’re like us (If I ain’t hitting it then I don’t care), well, there’s more to the story. Culpo was supposedly complaining that she wasn’t getting any kind of sex from Tebow, who has been public about his abstinence until marriage.
That leads us to ask: Is abstinence any reason to break up?
Yes it is
Hello, 2015! The days of courting, meeting the parents, living separately and then getting married to enjoy sex, shared bills and splitting the holidys are looooong gone. I’m not for one-night stands, but when you get to know someone, you tend to share more intimate experiences with them. Especially if you’re in your 20s and 30s. Live a little. Take a test drive before you commit a lifetime to someone who may be bad at driving a stick shift. Do you want your throttle messed with FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE by someone who has only ridden a bicycle?

Besides you have an ex-Miss Universe (not Miss Small Town County Fair Queen 2003). If you don’t know what to do with her, maybe being alone in your room is what’s best for you.
No, it is not
I’m sorry Ms. Culpo, but you knew, heck even I knew, Tebow vowed abstinence until marriage and I never had any intention of sleeping with him. It has been and will be part of his beliefs until he is married. There is a lot to be said for an attractive, (supposedly) financially stable PRACTICING Christian who sticks to his word. I know it may be rare, but there are righteous men out there who respect themselves enough to wait for marriage.
It seems elementary to say, ‘How can you pass up such a babe?’ But, as the saying goes, looks will fade, but character will last. Kudos for Tebow shutting down even one of the hottest women in the world. Maybe your next girlfriend will understand and respect your wish to wait for marriage.
