Nights of a Thousand Candles

It’s officially that time of year. I say “officially,” because everyone putting their Christmas trees up Halloween night at midnight don’t count.

Brookgreen Gardens’ annual “Night of a Thousand Candles is set to open up for the 2015 season this Thursday, Dec. 3 and run throughout Dec. 19, running every weekend.

If you though Brookgreen looked beautiful in April, just WAIT until you see the gardens at night amassed with HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of BILLIONS of thousands of Christmas lights. Night of a Thousand Candles makes Rockefeller Center in New York look like a garage fire. It makes the White House Christmas tree lighting look like...well something worse than a garage fire.

See Brookgreen Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than[actual number] 5,500 hand-lit candles and countless sparkling lights from 3 - 10 p.m. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, hear the sounds of hand bells ringing, carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends. Now in its 16th year, Nights of a Thousand Candles continues to delight guests with beautiful candle and lighting displays and exceptional entertainment.
