A. My family relocated here from California six years ago

Q. Where did you live in California?

A. I’m from the central Coast.

Q. Where is that?

A. It’s a smaller town, right in the middle of California. We have vineyards and the beach. We were about two hours from Los Angeles and two hours from San Francisco.

Q. Do you like it here?

A. Yes! I met my husband about a week after we moved here. He works for Horry County Fire and Rescue. He’s a fireman. We’ve been married for going on two years now.

Q. Did he relocate here?

A. Yes, he came from Ohio.

Q. How do you think fate worked out for you, meeting your husband...

A. Oh I believe in fate, 100 percent!

Q. What do you do here at Socastee Station?

A. I bartend and waitress.

Q. Which do you like more?

A. I like bartending, but when I first started here, I didn’t want to be behind the bar.

A. I like interacting with customers. I (also) like our locals who come here on a regular basis.

Q. What is your favorite drink to serve at Socastee Station?

A. People say my margaritas are pretty good.

Q. What makes them so good?

A. Sometimes, a little splash of orange juice is good in a margarita.

Q. What are some of your favorite ingredients to use, while mixing drinks?

A. I like fruity drinks. So, one of the flavored vodkas with lemonade is good. It’s fresh and fruity.
