A. A year...a little over a year
Q. Are you from Murrells Inlet?
A. Yes, I graduated from St. James High School
Q. Did I hear you say also sell real estate?
A. Yes, I have done some of that
Q. What is the biggest difference between real estate and bartending
A. It’s a difference in the hours that you work real estate is more of a nine-to-five job. But if I need a weekend off here, we can communicate about it.
Q. What’s your favorite thing about bartending?
A. It’s a flexible schedule in a fun environment. And I get to talk to my friends.
Q. Which do you like better, pouring shots, or beer, or mixing drinks?
A. I like mixing drinks. It’s fun. You’re making something.
Q. What is your favorite drink to mix?
A. We make a drink called a car bomb.
Q. How is that made?
A. You pour half a glass of Guinness beer. Then you put Jameson (Irish whiskey) and Baileys in a shot glass. You drop the shot glass in the Guinness and drink it.
Q. What’s the best mixing ingredient that you use in your drinks?
A. Peach liqueur. And everything we do has Baileys in it. We use Jameson a lot.
Q. Do you like to make up your own drinks?
A. I haven’t really done that, but I would like to get into it.
