The “Hellegant” bash will include live music by Whiskey Diablo, which might quite possibly be the coolest name for a band ever. Also in store will be a killer costume contest, that is a contest that is simply DESCRIBED as killer, not necessarily a contest in which you must dress as a killer, just so we’re all on the same page. Will there be prizes? YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS there will be prizes, including free admission for two to EVERY 2016 show AND $300 cash; $500 cash; and $100 House of Blues Karma cash.

Howl-O-Scream
The “Howl-O-Scream” (yep, that just happened) will be descending upon the Grand Strand Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports complex.
Goblins, ghouls and ghosts will be in attendance. Probably. The event will be open to all ages and be free to the public, with the park and sports complex transforming into a spooktacular site for an array of activities to include hayrides, pumpkin painting, marshmallow roasting, trick-or-treating and much more.
Scare free and Scare Zones offer a variety of excitement levels that is sure to satisfy all.
Conway Big Wheel Race
We’ve all dreamed this day would come, and now, it is here. Get ready to race the streets of Downtown Conway on a BIG WHEEL, dodging obstacles and fellow Big Wheel wannabes. The event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at Laurel Street and Fourth Avenue.
Steal your kid’s Big Wheel or build your own and join the crowd. Participants must be 18 or older. Each team consists of a rider and a pusher. Helmets are required and elbow and knee pads are strongly encouraged, but come on let’s face it you’re not a pansy, man up. All participants must sign a waiver at check-in. If you die, that’s on you.
